Privacy Policy

Plain-language promises about how we treat your school's and your children's data.

Draft policy. Edu Studio AI is onboarding pilot schools; this document describes our working practices and will be finalized with legal review before general availability. Last updated: October 2026.

What we collect

Only what a school needs to operate: account details (name, email), school membership and role, and the academic records your school creates on the platform — classes, attendance, assignments, quiz results, exam marks, fee invoices, and AI tutor conversations.

What we never do

  • We never sell personal data or show advertising.
  • We never share one school's data with another school.
  • We never let parents see children who are not linked to them by the school.
  • We never train public AI models on your students' private data.

AI processing

AI features send the relevant prompt (for example, a student's question and the conversation context) to our AI provider to generate a response. API keys live only on our servers, usage is logged in a ledger your school can review, and daily limits apply.

Children's data

Student accounts are created through school-managed invitations — the school, acting with parental consent where required, controls enrollment. Student rankings are never public, and AI conversations are private by default, subject to school policy.

Your rights

Schools may export their data or request deletion at any time. Individuals can ask their school administrator, or contact us directly, to access or correct their information.

Security

Passwords are hashed with Argon2, sessions are revocable, access is role-checked on every request, sensitive actions are audit-logged, and school data is isolated by design. See our Security page for details.
